What inspired you to start doing chairs? I keep thinking it must have been the a level art project we did but then I remember you weren't in my college. Did you ever see my pop art chair?

ReplyDeleteHi Nicki - I realised about 4 years ago that my art work was very decorative and the patterns I created leant themselves to printed fabrics. It took me a while to find the right printing and upholstery partners. And what better vehicle for gorgeous fabrics than chairs; functional art! Did you take a photo of your pop art chair? Send it through if you did; I would love to see it.
